PASADENA, Texas – Pasadena police have arrested a suspect accused of running over a boy on a bicycle Monday and leaving the scene.
Ezekiel Hernandez was riding his bike near his home on Harris Avenue when he was hit by a truck. Witnesses say the pickup truck driver hit the boy, then backed up and ran over him again.
Hernandez remained in critical condition at last check. He has several broken bones, broken ribs and a punctured lung
Police say the truck dragged the boy's body at least 50 feet before taking off.
Police haven't released the suspect's name. They say a tip led to the arrest.
