Pasadena police searching for driver involved in deadly hit-and-run

Police said a dark-colored pickup truck struck a man on a motorized cart while he was in the crosswalk at 100 Southmore Avenue.

PASADENA, Texas — The Pasadena Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run.

The crash happened Aug. 8 shortly before 6:09 a.m. at 100 Southmore Avenue, just east of the Shaver Street Intersection.

Police said during this incident, a dark-colored pickup truck struck a man on a motorized cart while he was in the crosswalk.

The suspect left the scene driving eastbound on Southmore Avenue, according to police.

The man was transported by ambulance and later died at the hospital.
