HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A perimeter was set up Monday night in north Harris County as authorities searched for a group of people they said was responsible for a shooting.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said his department was helping the Harris County Sheriff's Office with the investigation.
Herman said the shooting happened along TC Jester Boulevard near FM 1960. He said a man was shot and was being evaluated by EMS at the scene.
According to a social media post from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, four people ran from the scene -- one wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, another wearing a white hoodie, another wearing a red shirt and the other suspect wearing all black.
A perimeter was set up as authorities searched for the suspects and law enforcement asked people to avoid the area.
