HOUSTON – Houston police took a man into custody after they say he led them on a high speed chase overnight.
An officer said he tried to stop the biker for driving with no license plate on Waco at Lyons on the east side. The rider led authorities to the East Freeway and the North Freeway, at times reach speeds of 100 miles per hour.
The rider eventually exited the North Freeway at Parker where he tried to go through a grassy, muddy area and crashed.
The suspect was captured after a brief foot chase and taken into custody.
Police said the motorcycle was stolen Wednesday, and the rider had a warrant out for his arrest.
