Montgomery Co. police release sketch of man accused of chasing a 12-year-old girl

MMontgomery County police released a sketch of a man accused of chasing a 12-year-old female into a wooded area near her home and assaulting her.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas Montgomery County police released a sketch of a man accused of chasing a 12-year-old female into a wooded area near her home and assaulting her.

The incident happened Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, around 4 p.m. in the area of FM 1314 and Cumberland Blvd.

The victim told authorities that an unidentified male chased her into a wooded area near her home in Porter, Texas.

He put his hand on her neck, cheek and face, said the girl's father, Theo Edge. He got real close to her, and she was able to feel his breath and smell it.

She started screaming and the man ran off.

Her father and nearby residents came to her aid. .

The victim believes that she previously observed her attacker in her backyard on Nov. 2, 2013. She also believes this is the same man that attacked and assaulted her in the same area in August of 2012.

Investigators spent several hours interviewing the girl and believe the threat is credible.

The suspect is described as a large male with a pot belly, approximately 5 11 to 6 1 tall, weighing 275 to 300 pounds, having a dark buzzed cut hair style, an un-kept beard, pock marked cheeks, and yellow crooked uneven teeth.

She wouldn't make up a story like this for any reason, said the girl's father. This person is out there.

Her family is worried he may try strike again and attack another child.
