MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A man’s body was found in the same park where a teen was previously murdered, Missouri City police confirm.
The body was found overnight at Buffalo Run Park not far from Highway 90 and Beltway 8.
The Missouri City Police Department says the body, that of a man believed to be in his 20’s, appears to have been there a while. Police were not immediately able to identify the man.
The investigation is still in the early stages, and further information has not been released.
In 2016 a teenager was found fatally shot in the same park. That murder resulted in the eventual arrest of an MS-13 gang member who was wanted for two area killings.
