HOUSTON — A man was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds after an incident in north Harris County Sunday night. The victim had critical injuries.
Harris County Sheriff's Office homicide detectives responded to a call of a disturbance with an injured person on Chisholm Trail just south of Rankin Road.
Detectives learned an 18-year-old man was found in the common area of an apartment. He was rushed to the hospital.
A 17-year-old boy was detained for questioning. Deputies were not looking for any outstanding suspects. Other witnesses had left the scene by the time detectives arrived.
Detectives were working to learn where the stabbing happened, what led up to the incident, the 17-year-old boy's possible involvement, and the relationship between the 17-year-old and the victim.
