HOUSTON - A man was found dead at an apartment complex in north Houston late Thursday night.
Around 11 p.m. deputies got a call about a shooting at "The Palms on Rolling Creek" apartment complex.
They found a 28-year-old man shot multiple times in the parking lot of the complex. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told deputies after they heard the gunshots, they saw two black males running away from the scene.
The victim was staying at the apartment complex with friends for the last two weeks, according to Ben Beall with the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit.
There is no known motive at this time.
Deputies are checking the area for cameras that may have recorded the incident.
