A man was found severely beaten near the Greyhound bus station in Midtown early Wednesday.
The beating happened sometime before 5 a.m. at 2100 Fannin Street, about a block south of downtown.
Police believe the victim was attacked by four unknown suspects. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and may not survive.
Houston Police homicide investigators were called to the scene.
A motive for the crime was not immediately known.
