HOUSTON — A man has been charged with capital murder for the 2016 shooting that killed three men and wounded two, including a 10-year-old boy, in Houston's Fourth Ward.
The shooting happened the evening of July 4th as the Freedom Over Texas celebration happened just blocks away.
Court documents show Jerome Moore, 20, is charged in the deaths of Jamal Dixon-Lackey, Charles Jackson and Daquarius Tucker.
Witness video the night of the shooting showed a block party underway with the sound of fireworks in the background when the gunfire rang out.
