Man dies after being found beaten, lying face down on dead-end road in north Harris County, sheriff's office says

HCSO said they didn't have any leads, but said the man had been out at the dead end with some other people when some type of fight broke out.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was found lying face down with signs of trauma on a road early Sunday morning. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

This happened on Greenranch Road, which is near the intersection of Aldine Westfield Road and Lauder Road. The sheriff's office said deputies were called to the scene after someone reported seeing the man sometime after midnight.

When deputies arrived, they found a man lying face down at a dead end on the street with signs of blunt force trauma. EMS took him to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HCSO said they didn't have any leads, but said the man had been out at the dead end with some other people when some type of fight broke out.
