HCSO: 21-year-old charged for trying to pull over vehicles while impersonating an officer

Micheal Saulsberry, 21, was arrested for impersonation of a public servant and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

HOUSTON — A man was arrested after deputies said he was trying to pull over vehicles while impersonating an officer, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office Vehicular Crimes Division.

Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, undercover deputies saw a white Ford Taurus on I-10 westbound near Washington Avenue turning on red and blue lights to get vehicles to pull over.

Marked HCSO units later stopped the driver, identified as Micheal Saulsberry, 21, on Pinemont Drive near the Northwest Freeway.

Deputies said a gun and body armor were found in the car.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Saulsberry was arrested and charged with impersonation of a public servant and unlawful carrying of a weapon. 

He is due in court on Monday.
