HOUSTON — FBI Houston officials announced that three juvenile boys were taken into custody and are facing charges in connection with a bank robbery last week.
Initially, investigators asked for help identifying the trio they said robbed a bank in north Houston last Thursday.
On Tuesday, the FBI announced they took an 11-year-old, a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old into custody. They're being charged with robbery by threat, the FBI said. Since they're juveniles, no other information was released.
After the robbery, the FBI posted their photos to social media and asked for help identifying and catching the suspects they called "little rascals."
It happened just after 3 p.m. at the Wells Fargo on the North Freeway at West Road. FBI officials said they threatened the teller but witnesses said they didn't see any weapons. They left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Since the robbers were juveniles, KHOU 11 decided to blur their faces.
