HPD releases photos of suspect in aggravated robbery

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon from last month.

According to the Houston Police Department, it happened on Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. at a clothing store located in the 12500 block of Westheimer Road.

At that time, the suspect in this case was shoplifting merchandise. The suspect passed all points of sale without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise and exited the store with the stolen merchandise.

The store's loss prevention associate followed the suspect outside and attempted to stop the suspect.

A brief struggle ensued, the suspect pulled out a knife and cut the loss prevention associate before fleeing in a black 2003 Lincoln Navigator bearing TX license plate #DCX3583.

Video surveillance cameras in the store captured images of the suspect. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with tattoos on his left arm.

 

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect(s) in this case.
