HOUSTON – A man was found dead from gunshot wound to the head at his south Houston home overnight.
According to Houston Police Department, officers responded at 1 a.m. Saturday to a call of a shooting on Phlox near Scott.
When HPD arrived on the scene, they found a male who had been shot several times to the back of the head.
Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a neighbor who talked to HPD, they saw a male running from the scene just after the shots.
No other descriptions of a possible suspect, and a motive is not known at this time.
The victim lives at that house. He apparently had just pulled in and got out of his vehicle to go inside when the suspect shot him.
