HOUSTON — Four people were shot, one of them fatally, after a disturbance at a club in Houston's South Side early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. on Griggs Road between Calhoun Road and MLK Boulevard.
According to the Houston Police Department, the disturbance at the club spilled out into a nearby gas station's parking lot and escalated to gunfire. Two men and two women were shot.
Police said one woman was killed in the shooting, two people took themselves to an area hospital and another was taken to a local hospital by the Houston Fire Department. The extent of the injuries was not immediately clear.
HPD has not identified a suspect but said they do have two persons of interest.
