HOUSTON — Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says four teens were shot and injured at a large party at a makeshift warehouse in north Harris County early Sunday morning.
This happened on Mooney Road off the Eastex Freeway around 12:30 a.m.
The sheriff said there were around 50 to 75 people at the party when someone started randomly shooting. When deputies got to the scene, they found two teens injured, one with a gunshot wound to the leg and one with a gunshot wound to the back. Two other teens later showed up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds from the party, according to Gonzalez. The victims' ages are 17, 17, 18 and 19.
One of the teens, the 19-year-old, is reportedly in critical condition. Gonzalez said the other three are in fair condition and are expected to be OK.
