HOUSTON — Houston police are looking for a man accused of shooting a 7-year-old girl in her leg and thigh during a road rage incident in July.
Marcus Keith Burns, 29, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon regarding the incident.
The shooting happened on July 9, 2023 at around 7:25 p.m. on Bellfort Avenue near Telephone Road.

What happened
Police said the 7-year-old girl was a passenger in her mother's car when a man in a black Lexus, who police believe to be Burns, opened fire on them. The mother and the suspect were reportedly involved in an altercation on the road just before the shots were fired.
The girl was taken to a hospital for treatment.
