HOUSTON — A man was shot to death and a woman injured after a fight escalated at a southeast Houston house party early Sunday morning, police say.
This happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Juliabora Street near the Gulf Freeway.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooter may have been a juvenile. After the shooting, many of the partygoers ran into the street. Several of them were detained and found to have a gun on them, police said.
The woman victim was taken to a hospital. We don't yet know her condition. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not yet identified the suspect.
