Police said the victims were friends but no one was in custody for the shooting.

It happened around 1:20 p.m. at an apartment complex on Corder Street, which is in a neighborhood just inside the Loop near Scott Street.

Witnesses told police that the shooters took off in a car, but police didn't give a description of the vehicle.
