HOUSTON — Two people were hurt Saturday night when gunfire broke out in an apparent road rage incident in a parking lot in southeast Houston, police say.

This happened around 9:15 p.m. at Gragg Park off Telephone Road.

Witnesses told the Houston Police Department that two trucks sped into the parking lot and exchanged gunfire before taking off. Two bystanders were hit in the shooting - one in the leg and one in the torso. Police said the victims drove home in their own vehicle and called for help. The Houston Fire Department took them to an area hospital where they are expected to be OK.

While investigators were working the scene, another person flagged them down saying they had gunshot holes in their vehicle.

Police did not have a description of the suspects, other than they were driving trucks.
