A former Houston urban park ranger is due in probable cause court Wednesday after he was arrested Tuesday, according to court documents.
According to court documents, Joey Ellis, 33, is charged with official oppression.
Houston police said that while he was at work, Ellis asked a man for money, and in exchange for the payment, he would not arrest the man.
