TEXAS CITY, Texas – Detectives are looking for a man that allegedly shot a hotel employee in Texas City Saturday morning.
It happened at about 6:45 a.m. at a Fairfield Inn located at 10700 Emmett F Lowry Expressway.
The Texas City Police Department said they were responding to a robbery call at the hotel when they discovered a 37-year-woman had been shot. Police confirmed she worked at the hotel.
She was taken to the hospital by Life Flight. There are no details on her condition.
The suspect drove away in a white pickup truck.
The suspect is between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 5 feet 10 inches tall. His face was covered during the incident.
