HOUSTON — A chase ended in a crash on Highway 6 at the Katy Freeway Tuesday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office posted about this just before 6 a.m. Houston Transtar reports the crash involving two vehicles happened at 5:45 a.m.
Two frontage road lanes were blocked off as a result.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were dispatched to Kingsland Boulevard near the Grand Parkway in the Katy area after a caller reported someone breaking into mailboxes.
When deputies arrived, the thieves sped off in a vehicle. Following an almost 20-minute chase, the suspects were arrested near the Katy Freeway.
