HCSO announces increased reward in store clerk's murder

Homicide investigators announced Thursday an increased reward in the September murder of a store clerk in northwest Harris County.

HOUSTON -- Homicide investigators announced Thursday an increased reward in the September murder of a store clerk in northwest Harris County.

On Sept. 19, 2013 deputies responded to the Blue Bell Corner Store located at 9702 Veterans Memorial Drive and found the store clerk, Karim Momin, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Robbery is believed to be the motive.

The reward offer has been increased to $15,000. Crime Stoppers already had a $5000 reward. The Retailers Association has offered an additional $10,000

The Harris County Sheriff s Office and Greater Houston Retailers Association hope the increase in the reward will lead to information about the killer(s) in this case.
