HOUSTON — Houston police say a father shot his adult son in the leg Tuesday night at a home in South Central Houston. The son, who is in his 30s, was taken to an area hospital where he is expected to be OK.
This happened around 11:20 p.m. on Arbor Street east of the Southwest Freeway.
According to the Houston Police Department, the son had been drinking heavily and was known to be violent. Police said the son broke his father's arm last year.
