HOUSTON — A man was shot and killed Tuesday night during what police are calling an argument over a game of dominoes.
It happened around 7 p.m. at an apartment complex in southeast Houston near the intersection of Griggs Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
According to police, when responding officers got to the scene, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the man who was shot and killed was playing dominoes when a fight broke out. They said another man pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Police said the shooter hadn't been taken into custody as of about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities said they were going to talk to witnesses and see if they could find surveillance video to help them piece together what happened.
