Woman dragged off-duty deputy with her vehicle through parking lot in NW Harris County, Pct. 4 says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman is accused of dragging a Harris County Pct. 4 deputy constable through a parking lot after getting into a verbal fight at a fast food restaurant on Thursday.

This happened at a restaurant off Highway 249 in northwest Harris County.

According to Precinct 4, the off-duty deputy was approaching the woman's vehicle when she tried to take off, Pct. 4 said, dragging the deputy through the parking lot. The deputy reportedly briefly lost consciousness.

A struggle broke out while the deputy attempted to detain the woman until another deputy got to the scene and was able to take her into custody.

The woman was arrested and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury, according to Precinct 4.
