HOUSTON – A man was hospitalized after being shot several times by his own father overnight in northeast Harris County.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, happened around 4:15 a.m. Saturday in the family's home in the 1900 block of Center at Kilgore.
The father reportedly told deputies his son shot at him several times but missed. So the father got out his own gun and shot his son in his back and stomach.
He was flown to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
The father was taken in for questioning. The Harris County District Attorney's Office will decide if he'll be charged.
