HOUSTON — Two men have been arrested in connection to a deadly robbery in which a man was dropped from a six-story parking garage at an apartment north of downtown, court documents say.
According to the Houston Police Department, the robbery happened around 6:50 p.m. on September 26 at an apartment's parking garage on Leona Street, which is off of Elysian Street north of I-10.
Isaiah Ray Williams, 18, and Enrique Malaquias Bonilla, 21, are both charged with murder.
The victim, who police identified as 23-year-old Sostenos Briones, had been found dead in a breezeway between the apartment complex and the parking garage. HPD said he had blunt force trauma to his torso.
Police said an investigation identified Bonilla as a suspect in the case. He was arrested on November 7 and HPD said he admitted to his role in the robbery.
A week later, Williams turned himself in on November 14.
