SEALY, Texas – A Sealy church counselor accused of sexually assaulting children surrendered Wednesday evening.

Nilson Vargas, 39, turned himself in at the Waller County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say they don't know how many boys were involved but another alleged victim came forward Wednesday.

Vargas, a married father of four daughters, is cooperating with investigators and has reportedly confessed.

Vargas met at least two of the boys at the Christian City Fellowship and lured them into sex acts, according to court documents. The youngest was 13.

"And ultimately, the defendant did start touching them at various locations including the church, at the victim's home and other places around several different counties," said a Waller County investigator in the arrest warrant.

Vargas told the boys that pornography was normal, according to the arrest warrant. The warrant goes on to say the boy "did not want to consent [to having sex with Vargas] but he was afraid and ashamed of what was happening."

Vargas allegedly told the investigator: "If they said it happened, then it happened."

The assaults date back to 2006.

At some point, Vargas moved to Norway but not before he allegedly had sex with a boy at his going away party.

While he lived in Norway, prosecutors say he got involved with a 16-year-old boy.

After he returned to Texas, they say, the boys at the church came forward and that's when the investigation was launched.
