FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas — If you've been to Buc-ee's, you know they sell just about everything – food, home décor, and even stuffed animals of their beaver mascot.
However, one deputy discovered one stuffed animal wasn't stuffed with plush.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy made a traffic stop around 1 a.m. along Interstate 10 on Wednesday morning.
During the search, the deputy smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and found several plushies in the rear of the car, the sheriff's office said. When he picked up the plushies, he felt packages inside and noticed the toy had been restitched.
The deputy ended up finding ecstasy and more than 2 pounds of marijuana stuffed inside, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver then complained of chest pain and was taken to the hospital by EMS.
Later, an arrest warrant was issued and the drugs were seized.
