ROSHARON, Texas — An inmate is back in custody after he escaped the Stringfellow Unit in Rosharon Tuesday morning, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office.
Calvin Lee Patterson, 23, escaped the facility around 4 a.m. based on a report from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The Stringfellow Unit is located at 1200 FM 655.
Deputies said he had been located around 9 a.m.
Patterson was serving a nine-month sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon out of Harris County.
