Police are investigating the death of a man found inside an apartment in southwest Houston Monday night.

Houston police said officers responded to a call regarding a body just after 8:45 p.m. on North Braeswood near Chimney Rock.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 70s dead inside the apartment and quickly identified signs of foul play, police said. Homicide detectives were then called to the scene.
The medical examiner’s office and forensic teams were actively processing the scene late into the evening.
