HOUSTON – Police are looking into why an argument between two men escalated into a shooting that left one of them wounded at a northwest Houston home.

According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 9 p.m. at a home in the 2300 block of West Little York near Carver.

At that time, two males who know each other got into some sort of argument in front of the victim's home. Then the suspect pulled a gun and shot the other male once.

The victim collapsed in the street. Houston firefighters responded and transported him to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The suspected shooter was taken into custody. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office is looking into any possible charges.

It is not known what they were arguing about.
