CORPUS CHRISTI -- More than 30 Carroll High School students have been suspended after taking part in vandalism at the school Wednesday morning.

Six students were arrested shortly after and, according to the Corpus Christi Independent School District, charged with criminal mischief for breaking windows, throwing paint on walls and hanging fishing line around the school. Now, a total of 33 students have been suspended and will not be allowed to graduate Saturday.

However, if the students do not get into any more trouble, the students will be eligible to walk the stage during summer graduation.

The district will hear 27 appears Friday from the students who were suspended. The six that were detained by police Wednesday were released later that day.
