HOUSTON — A teenager who allegedly threatened to shoot everyone in a Houston-area sports bar was arrested early Saturday by Precinct 4 deputies.
The 14-year-old was charged with making a terroristic threat and unlawful carrying a weapon, according to Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman. His name hasn't been released because of his age.
Deputies responded to reports of a disturbance at Masones Bar and Grill in the 26200 block of the Northwest Freeway/290 near Fry Road in Cypress around midnight.
Precinct 4 said the suspect had a gun and threatened to shoot everyone inside.
According to the bar owner, the teen and his uncle were involved in an argument with people sitting on the patio. The owner said he was sitting in the uncle's car when he waved the gun.
Deputies located the weapon and said it had been reported stolen to the Sugar Land Police Department.
The teen was booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
