Pct. 4 constable pays for Cypress man's SUV repairs

Cpl. Michael Pleytez used his own money to help a man who was looking for a job when his SUV broke down in a parking lot.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A Harris County Pct. 4 constable is being recognized for helping a stranger who had fallen on hard times.

Cpl. Michael Pleytez used his own money to help a man who was looking for a job when his SUV broke down in a parking lot.

Ramsey Ward would return to a parking lot in Cypress every day to try and fix his vehicle, but he had no luck. Pleytez arranged for a towing company to pick up the car, and he paid to get it fixed.

“Constable Pleytez’ Heart symbolizes how he feels about the citizens her serves daily!” the department posted on Facebook. “Thank you Corporal Playtez!!!”
