HOUSTON — There’s been so much excitement over the series finale of The Big Bang Theory, that even the Cheesecake Factory in Memorial City decided to cook up some love, making Sheldon’s favorite dish!
“You forgot my BBQ bacon cheeseburger, BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese on the side," Sheldon said to Penny on the show.
It’s not normally how one would order a cheeseburger, but Sheldon Cooper is anything but normal.
It’s why we will love him.
“I think we may be looking at my new Tuesday hamburger," Sheldon said to Leonard.
And in honor of Thursday night’s series finale, The Cheesecake Factory, one of Sheldon’s favorite restaurants, grilled up that tasty, Tuesday special.
And we made Jason Garcia, a fan of the show, take of bite of Sheldon's burger.
“It’s tasty, it’s really good," Garcia said. “That’s just kind of who he is. He’s a very meticulous person, so it makes sense for everything to be on the side, that way he can add it the way he wants to.”
Many often wonder about the connection between Cheesecake Factory and the widely popular TV show. The restaurant says they weren’t even aware they were in the show until the first season aired, but they’re beyond pleased to be part of the pop culture.
The restaurant says they tried to see if producers would make the show’s restaurant look more like Cheesecake Factory, but they were unsuccessful.
Over the years, though, they have been able to get actual menus and cake boxes to appear on the show.
The restaurant says their well known in China not only because of the cheesecakes, but mostly because of the show, and a stop at the Pasadena Cheesecake Factory is part of a Big Bang Theory tour out in LA.
As for the burger, that’s a menu item that’s sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.
“You’ll be happy to know that I plan to come here every Tuesday night for the foreseeable future," Sheldon said to Penny.
"Really?! Oh yay..." Penny responded.
