HOUSTON Houston police havecharged a man who allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, then stabbed her new boyfriend at a southwest Houston car dealership on Monday.
Hersson Stanley Orellana, 19, was charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
Police said Orellana kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from the parking lot of Houston Community College s Spring Branch campus Monday evening.
The two then drove to Gillman Honda in the 105000 block of theWest Sam Houston Parkway, where her new boyfriendisa salesman.
Khai Nguyen was sitting in his car when they arrived around 7:40 p.m. His girlfriend walked over and got into the vehicle with him, then Orellana approached. Orellana first fired several shots in Nguyen s direction, then stabbed him, according to police.
Nguyen jumped out of the vehicle and ran away.
Police said Orellana then hopped into Nguyen s vehicle and drove away with the woman.He later dropped her off at an undisclosed location.
Nguyen was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in fair condition.
This is the second violent confrontation at a car dealership in two weeks.
Robert Kuentz, a manager at Mac Haik Chevrolet, was shot in the neck on Nov. 30. Kuentz, 30, passed away last Monday afternoon at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Keith Edward Grimmett, 49, was charged with murder after Kuentz passed away. Grimmett, a Mac Haik salesman, was angry about a meeting the two had the day before, according to court documents.
