Terminal C at Bush IAH reopens after 'suspicious bag' cleared

It was shut down for about an hour after a K-9 dog got a "hit" on an unattended bag," according to Bill Begley with the Houston Airport System. One passenger tweeted it was "total chaos and confusion."

Terminal C at Bush IAH has reopened after a "suspicious bag" was cleared by HPD.

It was shut down for about an hour after a K-9 dog got a "hit" on an unattended bag," according to Bill Begley with the Houston Airport System.

Passengers were moved out of the terminal and the HPD bomb squad was called in to check out the bag.

Apparently baggage claim has been shut down for a security concern here at IAH #IAH #news #security #tsa #airport

They gave the all-clear just after 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Begley said passengers were moved to other terminals to go through security so they could still catch their flights. Airport officials say there were no flight delays caused by the incident.
