HOUSTON — American Freight, a national furniture and appliance retailer, is closing all 328 locations, including six stores in the Houston area and 30 across Texas.
Store closing sales have begun in-store and online, with discounts of up to 30% off the lowest ticketed prices.
Hilco Consumer-Retail is overseeing the liquidation process for American Freight as the company winds down operations nationwide.
Available inventory includes living room sets, bedroom furniture, dining tables, and a selection of appliances, both scratch and dent, as well as new-in-box items like refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
"Everything is on sale and must be sold, and we recommend shopping early for the best selection," said Ian Fredericks, CEO of Hilco Consumer-Retail, emphasizing the value offered during the sale.
The company advises customers to act quickly for the best deals, as new inventory is arriving and expected to sell fast.
Select financing and delivery services will remain available during the store closing sales.
