Worth It?: Does the Nutri Chopper make the cut?

With the Nutri Chopper, you can chop produce into wedges, thin and thick slices and cubes.

HOUSTON — Slicing and dicing vegetables takes a lot of time. If there’s a tool to make it easier, the KHOU 11 Worth It team is excited to try it.

We bought the Nutri Chopper at Bed Bath & Beyond for $19.99 and recruited help from Dani Boss.

Boss is a busy mom of 2 and a contributor to Houston Moms Blog. She admitted she’s just not good at the cutting up veggies.

"I'm a horrible chopper, so this would totally help me out," she said.

The Nutri Chopper has four different blades. You can chop produce into wedges, thin and thick slices and cubes.

We had to switch out blades to find the best one for each piece of produce.

The directions also say to peel hard skin, remove all hard pits and pre-slice everything to fit within the blade frame.
