Shoney's is planning a big show of support for police officers, deputies, and law enforcement all across the country.

On Wednesday, July 27 members of law enforcement can get a free meal at all Shoney's restaurants.

The gesture was unanimously approved system-wide by Shoney's franchise partners, according to a company release.

"America's men and women in blue need to hear 'Thank You' in a tangible and heartfelt way," Shoney's CEO and Chairman David Davoud said.

The free meal is valid for breakfast, lunch, or dinner during all hours of operation on Wednesday, July 27.

Members of the law enforcement community either need to be in uniform or show proper identification.
