Meet some of Houston's 'sweet dumplings' born on Thanksgiving

Some Houston families feel extra grateful this year after welcoming their bundles of joy on Thanksgiving at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women.

HOUSTON — Some Houston families are extra grateful this year after welcoming their bundles of joy on Thanksgiving.

Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women met its first Turkey Day baby at 4:14 a.m. -- Parker Mitchell. She was born to parents Megan and Wayne Mitchell and came in weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

She is already enjoying snuggles from her older brother, Wayne Jr.

At 6 a.m. on the dot came Reagan Wilkins weighing 5 pounds, 15 ounces. Her parents Morgan and Alex Wilkins, were thrilled to introduce her to her two older sisters, Skylar and Ella.

Habi Babb Tembely was welcomed into the world by parents Nana Soumano and Baba Tembely.

Alicia Lamas Ramires also welcomed her daughter, Arleth Garcia, to the world on Thanksgiving.
