HOUSTON — A Houston bar has teamed up with the Slab Car Club to give away toys in Third Ward Thursday afternoon.
The event at The Savoy, located at 4402 Emancipation Avenue, runs from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be music and free photos with Santa, who will give out free toys while supplies last.
"We really want to make sure as many kids as possible have a chance to meet Santa and get a new toy this Christmas," The Savoy owner Claire Watson said. "We feel really blessed to be a part of this community and are grateful to partners like the Slab Car Club for helping us give a little Christmas joy to kids and families today.”
Additionally, The Savoy will host photo ops with Black Santa at 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at noon on Saturday and Sunday.
