Florida 12-year-old graduates with his associate degree from FSCJ

Cameron Robinson is still taking his middle school classes. But on the side, he's been working at his associate degree since he was 7!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida State College Jacksonville held its graduation ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, and we're saying a big congratulations to all our local grads. But a special congratulations is in order for 12-year-old Cameron Robinson.

Cameron started college at FSCJ at the age of 7. Thursday, he graduated with his associate of arts degree!

He's also still taking middle school classes through a dual enrollment program.

Cameron says his goal is to attend MIT and study engineering.

"My friends are always like, 'what? You're graduating college?' And they don't believe me whenever I tell them. So it's definitely a cool experience," Cameron says. He says his professors treat him like he's any other student.

He also said FSCJ helped him learn to interact with others, which will help him when he goes to college for his bachelor's degree.

Keep going, Cameron!

Congratulations Cameron Robinson!
