Hundreds of honey bees make themselves at home on Battleship Texas in Galveston

Experts from Texas Honey Bee Relocation Service found the queen and safely moved her and both hives to their rehab yard on the island.

GALVESTON, Texas — You won't BEE-lieve what crew members recently found aboard the Battleship Texas.

Hundreds of honey bees decided to make the The WWII battleship their home.

Battleship Texas is currently undergoing repairs at Gulf Copper Dry Dock in Galveston.

When crew members discovered the two hives, they called Texas Honey Bee Relocation Service and asked them to help. They insisted the experts make every effort to save the bees.

The bee guys found the queen and safely relocated her and both hives to their rehab yard on the island.

They said the bees weren't too happy about the move and one guy was stung 27 times.
