HOUSTON - A tiny waist and an ample derriere is a look that is now being sought out more than ever.
It's not just a Hollywood obsession, but women here in Houston want the look too.
"You don't want to be walking around like a broomstick." said singer/songwriter, Kat St. John.
She admits she has gone under the knife to improve her looks on stage.
"Buttock augmentation and the hourglass tummy tuck, those are the main procedures that people are looking for." said Doctor Wilberto Cortes, better known as Dr. Hourglass.
The Houston-based plastic surgeon offers a behind-the-scenes look at the procedures. It's something that few other plastic surgeons offer.
The doctor uses social media to stream his surgeries live, giving viewers a glimpse of how he changes the female form.
"Most of the patients ask, 'Am I going to be filmed?' They want to be filmed." said a nurse at the clinic.
"There is so much misinformation on the internet that I feel like it's a good way to educate patients regardless if they come to me or not." said Cortes. "Since I have developed so many techniques, they can see all the steps that I take to make somebody look hourglass."
From butt augmentation, a fat transfer that gives the booty a boost while slimming the waistline, to actual butt implants, Dr. HourGlass is living up to his name.
"I had a long big butt. And I'm not ashamed to say it. That butt was long. So what he did was he took some off of my back down and made me have that curve that I was looking for, that circular butt I was looking for so now, those hips, they lookin' right." said St. John.
"This is the trend that we have in society these days, so we get all of these patients from all over the world that want to look curvy." said Cortes.
