HOUSTON — Good news for fans of the Nutcracker Market: You can now shop until you drop again in April at their Spring Spectacular.
Spring Spectacular is the sunny flip side to the hugely popular Nutcracker Market.
This inaugural event at NRG Center will host 150 merchants from across the country.
They will feature a fresh assortment of seasonal items, apparel, accessories, jewelry and home décor suited to the warm weather months and spring and summer holidays.
“We have considered the idea of a spring event for several years, given the incredible enthusiasm for our holiday-themed Nutcracker Market,” said Patsy Chapman, CEO of the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market. “It’s truly exciting to be able to offer all the best elements of Nutcracker Market, but with an entirely different array of merchandise full of the bright colors and bloom of spring and then on to the celebrations and carefree days of summer.”
The Spring Spectacular will be held the weekend of April 12-14.
Discount general admission tickets go on sale for $13 at Ticketmaster.com on March 1 and all Randalls stores on March 11.
Market dates and hours
- Friday, April 12 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 13 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday, April 14 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Both events raise money for the Houston Ballet Foundation, its Ballet Academy and scholarship programs.
